He is survived by: his mother Dolores Griego (Ortiz) of Hereford, Texas; his son Ernesto Griego III (Monica) of Farmers Branch, Texas; his grandsons, Gabriel Griego and Jason Griego; and his siblings, Oralia Griego of Ft. Worth, Irene Guerra of Hereford, Max Griego (Janie) of Hereford, Beatrice Urias (Eloy) of Amarillo, Tony Griego of Hereford, Betty Gonzalez (Tommy) of Amarillo, Annabell Villegas (Ralph) of Amarillo, Rosemary Villarreal (Lee) of Ft. Worth and Jimmy Griego (Nellie) of Carter, Oklahoma. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
