He is survived by: his wife Rosa Contreras; his children, Mary Contreras, Irma Contreras, George Contreras, Gilbert Contreras and Jaime Contreras; and his siblings, Johnny Contreras, Freddie Contreras (Linda), Tony Contreras (Alma), Joe Contreras, Elida Trevino, Linda Contreras, Irene Camargo and Angie Garza. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren.
