He was predeceased by: his parents, Julio Medrano and Priciliana Medrano (Sias); and his siblings, Begnino, Julio Medrano, Elpidia Coronado, Angela Estrada and Guadalupe Morelos.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Medrano of Hereford; his children, Frank Medrano (Greta) of McKinney, Alma Delia Norwood (Douglas) of Friona, Dora Alicia Mendiola (Manuel, Jr.) of McKinney and Fernando Medrano (Halli) of Gainesville, Texas.; and his siblings, Atanacia Silva of Chicago, Pilar Mendoza of Chicago, Simona Medrano (Teresa Estrada) of Houston, Mexico and Humberto Medrano (Rose) of Amarillo, Texas.. He is also survived by his grandchildren and his extended family.
