“I am so sorry for your loss. I grew up with Clay. Our moms' worked at the same elementary school. Clay and I grew up similar, but over the years we came to different viewpoints on issues. What I really respect about Clay is that even though we disagreed on issues, he was willing to explain his view point and was willing to listen to mine. That is a rare quality in this world today. I know he loved his wife and child very much and I am so sorry for their loss as well as his mom's loss.”
