He is survived by: his wife Jean Wilkes; his children, LaVona Wilkes, Gene Wilkes (Kim), Brenda Johnson (Mike), Beverly Dillard (Joel) and Barbara Mobley (Rodney); his siblings, Donald Wilkes (Pat), Lenora Starnes (Jack) and Odell Wilkes (Jimmie); and also, Carl and Heaven. He is also survived by his five children, 9 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
