He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Jones, Sr. and Katherine Jones; his sister Glenda Lewis Caraway; and his son Jerome "J. J.". He is survived by: his wife Laura Lee Jones; his son John Ross "J. R."; his nephew Anthony Johnny Jones; his sister-in-law Judy Jones; his granddaughter Averi Lashay Jones; and his brothers, Milton Jones Jr. and Johnny Jones. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephew, and a host of extended family and friends.
