She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Schwass and May Fay Schwass (Root); her husband Chris Klein; her daughter Ellen Klein; and her siblings, Hershel Smalley, Keith Smalley, Bill Smalley, Miriam Peterson and Esther Floyd.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Klein of Illinois, Jeff Klein of Illinois, Phil Klein of South Carolina and Kathy Cox of Hamlin, Texas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
