Don Bailey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Bailey of Hamlin, Texas, born in Moody, Texas, who passed away on January 31, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Wilma Moore Bailey; his stepfather James Hewitt; and his sister Elaine Hopkins. He is survived by: his former wife Melba Osbourn; his daughter Kay; his son-in-law Brett Hight of Abilene, Texas; his son Terry; his daughter-in-law Deana Bailey; his wife Rosie; his grandchildren, Bobby Hight and Jerid Hight (Kelly); his great grandchildren, Cooper Don, Tripp and Kyle Ray; and his sisters, Dellia Bailey and Jan Hickerson (Dwigh). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the West Texas Rehab Center, Abilene, Texas.
