It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Almeta Young of Hamlin, Texas, born in Abilene, Texas, who passed away on November 13, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Durward M. Mizell and Willie Mae Mizell (Flanigan); and her sister Jackie Jean Underwood. She is survived by: her husband Richard M. Young, Jr.; her sister Dale Marie Springer; her daughter Jean Marie Jeffrey (Ronnie Jeffrey); her grandchildren, Kyle Jeffrey (Kasey), Jessica Elder (John) and Luke Jeffrey (Sugey); and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Grayson Jeffrey, Katy, Brady, Case Elder, Jaxon and Emmy Jeffrey.
