He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert L Ferguson and Novie L Jackson Ferguson; and his brothers, Milton "Slim" (Anita), Kenneth and Raymond (Donna).
He is survived by: his wife Janice Spencer Ferguson; his daughters, Deborah Ferguson Marbury (Randal) and Lydia Ferguson Kidd (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Jamie Marbury Fahey (Michael) and Christopher Marbury; his great grandchild Oliver Fahey; his sister Norma Ferguson Edwards Skelton; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Ferguson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
