With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertrude Matilda Janak of Hallettsville, Texas, who passed away on February 13, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius J. Grahmann and Helen Woitaske Grahmann; and her siblings, David J. Grahmann, Viola Grahmann, Frances Hanslik, Irene Barton, Virginia Pustka and Thelma Spies.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene A. Janak of Wied; her children, Russell Janak, Bradley Janak (Theresa) and Kay Teeple (Micha); and her siblings, Andrew J. Grahmann and Mary Bruening. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass Service (All attendees must wear masks): 3 pm, Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville, TX; with Rosary starting at 2:30 pm; and Visitation starting at 1:30 pm.
