He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sr. Strauss and Julianne Hrncir Strauss; his brothers, Dennis and Neil Strauss; and his parents-in-law, Bob and Polly Ahrens.
He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, James and Laura Williams; his son-in-law Jason; his grandchildren, Hope, Conner, Casey, Reid and Justin; his siblings, Mary Carol Kloesel (Arlyn) and Steve Strauss; his siblings-in-law, Elba Collins, Amy Zingery, Fran Gore (Tom), Alice Young (Stephan), Ann Goodman (John), Mary Griffin, Bobby Ahrens (Sharon) and Paul (Patty); and his grandchildren, Colby Williams and Brendan Strauss. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, extended family members, and friends.
