She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny L. Robbins and Beulah Elizabeth Whisnant Robbins; and her siblings, Johnnie Robbins, William Earl Robbins, Wayne L. Robbins, Freddie Joe Robbins, Kenneth Robbins, Weldon D. Robbins, Imogene Rich, Lo Keill Robbins and Almeta F. Russell.
She is survived by: her husband Meldon Ray Mitchell; her children, Scott Whitaker (Tari), Kathy Mitchell Hearn (Steve) and Mike Mitchell; and her sister Mary Francis Duncan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
