He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jean Jesse, Robert and Bette Murphy; his uncles, Robert Murphy, Jr. and Terry Murphy; and his aunt Shari Huey.
He is survived by: his parents, Stephen Ray Murphy and Ruth Margaretha Jesse Murphy; his brothers, Stephen Charles Murphy (Kathryn), Jesse Barnes Murphy (Danielle) and Richard Wayne Murphy (Julia); and his nieces and nephews, Hayden Murphy, Richard Murphy, Carter Murphy, Peyton Murphy, Emily Murphy, Cattleya Murphy and Hannah Murphy. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
