It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Louise Hunter (Gun Barrel City, Texas), born in Athens, Texas, who passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband J. J. Hunter; and her brother W. D.. She is survived by: her sons, Chris Hunter, Jeff Hunter, John Curtis Hunter (Judy) of Mabank, Robert Christopher Hunter of Mabank, Jeffrey Craig Hunter of Fresno, California and Joseph Jay Hunter (Faith) of Austin, Texas; her great grandchildren, Breiden Grubbs of Tool and Oran Hunter of Longview; her sister Jo Stone (Arliss) of Grand Saline; and her sisters-in-law, Jessie Ballard of Dallas and Dorothy Stoval of Point, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
