It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth (Clay) Britton of Greenwood, Texas, who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charlie Cook and Minnie Cook; her daughter Supportive; her grandmother Thankful; her husband Howard Britton; her siblings, Allene Sanders, Auburn Cook, Herbert Cook, Ida Lee Etchison, Marie Ivy and William Cook; her daughter-in-law Glenda Britton; her children, Linda Winn (Marty) and Larry Britton (Joy); her grandchildren, Ashley Shaw (Brandon), Casey Flowers (Jordan), Corey Winn (Janie) and Jamey Winn (Danae); and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Dax, Jameson, Judah, MaKynna, Savannah, Slade and Spencer. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
