She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph R. Pelich; and her parents, Johnie Day Beaton and Dr. Hugh Beaton of Fort Worth. She is survived by: her former husband Will Swenson; her daughters, Fort Worth, Johnie Swenson and Adriane Straus; her son-in-law Eric Straus; and her grandchildren, Jessica Straus and Jack Straus (Liza Allen).
She was a member of the Jewel Charity Ball, Junior League, the Fort Worth Garden Club, the Fort Worth Lecture Foundation, the Woman's Club of Fort Worth and a member of Colonial Dames.
