He is survived by: his sons, Bart Sherer, Sissy, Rusty Sherer (Diane) and Rick Sherer (Lisa); his brother E. M. Sherer; his grandsons, Chance Sherer (Stephanie), Curtis Sherer (Katie), Trevor Sherer (Lindsey) and Caleb Sherer (Sydney); and his great grandchildren, Reed Sherer, Riley Sherer, Palmer Sherer and Reese Sherer.
