She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Fite and Maggie Fite; her son Howard Thornton; and her granddaughter Kaylie Bullock. She is survived by: her children, Dwayne Thornton (Gena) of Tulsa, Debra Thornton-Bullock (William) of Thornton, Scott Thornton of Greenville and Glen Thornton of Greenville; and her grandchildren, Brittany Newton (Chris), Cole Thornton and Dara Thornton-Guthrie (Jacob).
