He is survived by: his wife Janey Sexton Hampton; his children, Tanya Hampton-Broussard (Stanley Conrad Broussard) and Richard Basil Hampton Jr.; his grandchildren, Emily Rena, Conrad Oliver Broussard, Megan Nicole, Charles Basil and Morgan Brooke Hampton; his nieces and nephews, Shelley Sullivan, Julie Pumphrey, Janey Mendoza, Gina Dexter, Tony Sexton, Alex Sexton and Rodney Sexton; and his cousins, June Jackson and Charles Hampton.
In lieu of flowers, the Hampton family would like to have donations go towards the Wounded Warrior Project or the Tunnel 2 Towers Foundation.
