He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bobby, Sammy, LaNora, Billie Ruth, Patsy and Darlene.

He is survived by: his wife Jane; and his sister Ruth Estelle Ward. He is also survived by three children.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Wesley Class at First Methodist Mansfield.
