She was predeceased by: her parents, Ascension Garcia and Lolita Gonzalez; and her son Edward James. She is survived by: her husband Milton Jay Sutton of Houston, TX; her children, Alexander Mata Jr., Lola Jane Mata (Chris Turner) and Aaron Sutton; and her grandchildren, Delyla Sanchez, Mercedes Turner, Gracie Turner, Marie Turner, Jordan Mata and Ariel Mata.
