He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Seely and Jean English Seely; his wife Nevia Hickman Seely; his grandson Brian Seely; and his great grandchild Dakota Jacobs.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald Jacobs (Pam) of Grand Saline, Rebecca Seely (Mike Morgan), Robin Long (Doug) of Red Oak and Rhonda Blackwell of Irving; his brother Langdon Seely of Brevard, NC; his grandchildren, Crystal Jacobs, Jennifer Jacobs, Amanda Blackwell, Robert Allen Jacobs, Jason Jacobs, Gerald Wayne Thomas Jacobs, Lance Brown, Aaron Long, Keith Jordan Long, Brant Thayer, Mykenzie Thayer and Nevia Thayer; his great great grandchildren, Brant and Mykenzie; and also Benjamin Thayer of Grand Saline. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
