He was predeceased by: his parents, Ersell Evans and Evelyn Evans; his stepmother Hazel Coquat; and his siblings, Janelle Teal, Sheryl Young and Jimmy Coquat.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Morgan; his son Greg (Lisa Evans); and his grandchildren, Madison James and Grant Evans. He is also survived by his family – particularly for his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Granbury First United Methodist Church.
