He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Shaden and Mattie Jane Simpson Brownlee; and his brother William Shaden Brownlee. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Craig and Ronald Jason (Tricia); his wife Nancy Sparkman Brownlee; the mother of his children Anne Williams Brownlee; his sister Bettie McLemore; his sister-in-law Betty Ann; and his stepchildren, Evelyn Mahler (Chris) and Andrew Beck (Laurie). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
