It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melba Carlene Briggs (Glen Rose, Texas), who passed away on June 16, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, S. L. Mann and Robert Briggs (Bob); her son Larry Bone; her grandson Brian Loyd; her great grandchild Hayley Bruce; her son-in-law Larry Dempsey; her parents, Clarence Moore and Ruby-Gosdin-Moore; and her siblings, Maxine Sanders, Hayden Moore, Ailene Worrell and Peggy Simmons.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Dempsey, Marsha Hulsey (Larry Hulsey) and Jana Trimble (Monte Trimble); her grandchildren, Robyn Dempsey (Eddy Wilson), Russ Dempsey (Tiffany), Olivia Krull (John), Vincent Bone, Brady Hulsey (Sheryl), Lisa Hulsey Bruce (Tony), Josh Hulsey (Brittany), Matt Hulsey (Maegan), Amanda Nelson (Annie Quasnitschka) and John Nelson (Haley Bankhead); and her sister-in-law Patsy Moore.
