He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Elidia Ibarra; his son Martin Ibarra; his grandson Christian Gabriel Ibarra; and his brother Jose Rojas Ibarra. He is survived by: his children, Vidal Ibarra, Merced Ibarra, Esperanza Sanchez, Ruben Ibarra, Lidia Montellano, Eva Delgado, Dolores Robledo, Ignacio Ibarra, Miguel Ibarra, Oliva Clifton, Elvira Rodriguez and Mateo Ibarra Jr. He is also survived by 48 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; brothers and sisters.
