With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lewis Mears of Glen Rose, Texas, born in Brazos Point, Texas, who passed away on July 25, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Simpson and Beatrice Powell Mears; and his siblings, Alice "Sis" Roten, Bessie Dixon, Clyde Mears, Martha Moon and Fannie Bratcher.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Mears of Glen Rose; his daughter Rhonda Duffie (Billy Joe) of Glen Rose; his granddaughter April Couch (Tommy) of Granbury; his great grandchildren, Angelle Gamon of Granbury and Colten Smith of Granbury; and his great great grandchildren, Brandon Cole Fierro, Jr. and Raylynn Fierro. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
