He is survived by: his wife Judy Greear; his children, Virginia Carmichael (John) and Billy Greear (Melissa); his grandchildren, Alex Carmichael, McKinley Greear and Wyatt McReynolds; and his siblings, Dorothy Greear and Norman Greear.
During the Covid crises, he counseled and encouraged those who were ill, afraid and missing their loved ones while he, himself was suffering and feeling the same as the others.
