He is survived by: his wife Dororthy Merrill; his children, Mickel Reese (Nenoka Verrett-Reese) of Houma, Melissa Merrill of Gladewater, Leonard Merrill Jr. (Quisha Merrill) of Dallas, Tiffany Marshall (Micheal Marshall) of Marshall, Leon Merrill (LaTanya Merrill) of Gilmer, Missy Merrill of Gladewater and Thirteen; and his siblings, Clint Merrill, Kenneth Merrill, Craig Merrill, Dwight Merrill and Linda Gayle Merrill. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
