He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glassell Tennyson Morton and Evelyn Marie Capps Morton; his wife Janice Stephens Morton; his stepchildren, Joey of East Texas, Jared Jackson of East Texas, Julie Foster of East Texas and Jacob McAdams of East Texas; his sisters, Nelwyn Morton of Tyler, Cindy Morton Malloy of Livingston and Cheryl Morton Fulton of Suwanee, Georgia; his niece Sandra Malloy Lea (Ted Lea) of The Woodlands; his nephews, Jeff, Kimberlee Freeman of Lufkin, Brian, Lindsay Freeman of Hallsville and Chase Fulton of Suwanee, Georgia; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryker, Kayson Lea, Blaze, Leelynn Freeman, Madilynn and Jarrett Freeman.
