He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton Byrd and Minnie Mae Byrd; his sons, Ben Marc Byrd and Terry Lynn Byrd; his siblings-in-law, Bill Berryhill, David Cline and Barbara Berryhill; and also, Earl and Mozelle Berryhill.
He is survived by: his wife Lynda; his daughter Joy Collins (Jerry Dodd Collins Jr.); his granddaughters, Tiffany Collins, Lauren Clapp (Matthew) and Kelsie Golden (Jacob); his great grandchild Rowan Clapp; and his sister Jannette Cline. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
