He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie McPeek and Bessie Lang McPeek. He is survived by: his wife Karen McPeek; his children, David McPeek, Scott Harrison, Steven Harrison, Lana McFarland, Jennifer Follin and Shannon Monroe; and his brother Bob McPeek. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
