He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert McWhirt and Carlene McWhirt; his wife Myra; his daughters, Sherrill Ballard (Brian) of Gilmer Texas and Delora McWhirt of Kilgore, Texas; and his grandchildren, Amber Watson (Cody) of Gilmer and Hunter Ballard of Gilmer.
