He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey D. Johnson and Reid Winn Johnson; and his brothers, Cheyenne Johnson and Forrest Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Johnson; his daughters, Marcia Fielden (Mike) and Amy McWhorter (John); his grandchildren, James Fielden (Sarah), Rachael Thurmond (Fritz), Colin Efurd (Brantly), Riley Coleman (Samantha) and Kaylin McWhorter; and his great grandchildren, Keaton Fielden, Pierce Thurmond, Tyson Fielden, Mary Thurmond, Kynna Rhoden, Nolan Fielden, Emmy Thurmond, Jaycin Fielden and Tate Efurd.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Dierksen Hospice, 2605 W. Ferguson Rd., Mount Pleasant, Texas 75455.
