He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred August and Edith Lorrayne Boyd Franke; and his wife Barbara Lea Franke. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Lee Plentl, Fred William Franke, Alice Bryant, Kindra Jean Sanders and Kimberly Marie Buesing; and his siblings, Brenda Gayle Thompson, Virginia Ann Baugh, Ellen Lynn Saunders and Fred August Franke Jr.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
