He was predeceased by: his father Juan "Cotton" Mitchell. He is survived by: his mother Maxine Stocks Mitchell; his brother Mark Mitchell (Tammy); his daughters, Evangelina Henson (Scott), Katrina Hutchins (Brandon Davenport) and Sarina Danner (Donny Allen); and his grandchildren, Taylor, Grace (Corben), Kenzie, Christian, Asa, Carson and Liam.
