It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Theresa Owens (Giddings, Texas), who passed away on May 12, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Balcar and Mary Teresa Balcar (Pecena); her son-in-law Thomas Kovar; and her siblings, Olinka Balcar, Lydia Wolf, Malady Sample, Agnus Mazoch, Louis Balcar and Frank Balcar.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Kovar of Giddings, Dawn Terrebonne (Dave) of Georgetown and Audie Owens of Houston; her grandchildren, Taylor Terrebonne of Georgetown and Tilden Owens of Houston; her sister Rose Fojtik of Brownwood; and her sister-in-law Doris Balcar of Dime Box. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
