It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Escalante of Giddings, Texas, born in Georgetown, Texas, who passed away on May 14, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Pintor and Pauline Pintor (Martinez); her daughter Gloria Dominguez; and her siblings, Jessie Pintor, Henry Vasquez, Cecil Vasquez, Louis Martinez, Rosy Hernandez and Alice Trejo.
She is survived by: her children, Beatrice Braaden of Florence, Mary Linda Acosta of Waco, Dee Dee Sanchez of Georgetown, Laura Hoelscher of Ellinger, Shirley Acosta of San Antonio and Marvin Rodriguez Jr. (Flora) of Giddings; and her siblings, Danny Vasquez of Georgetown, Ester Zavala (Larry) of Georgetown and Rachel Hernandez of Georgetown. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
