He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Slack and Elizabeth Slack (Schultz). He is survived by: his wife Jan Slack; his children, Carrie Ann Slack and Darrel Slack; his stepchildren, Meg Dixon (Paul), Eric Murray (Christy) and Jonathan Murray; and his stepgranddaughters, Emma Dixon and Lauren Murray.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
