It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles M Goodson of Giddings, Texas, who passed away on August 18, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sheriff Vernon Goodson and Bertha Cottrell Goodson; and his brothers, John Goodson and Sheriff Joe Goodson. He is survived by: his son Trooper Thomas Goodson; his granddaughters, Lydia Goodson, Brianna Mckenzie, Haily Mckenzie, Mary Frances Symmank of Houston and Verna Goodson Shaw "Chubby" of San Angelo; and also Tammy Goodson. He is also survived by many Nephews and Nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Grace Lutheran Church or First Baptist Church of Giddings, TX.
