He was predeceased by: his parents, Aniceto Herrera Sr. and Maria Elena Herrera (Lopez); and his siblings, Rosa Herrera, Sylvia Herrera, Ofelia Saucedo and Raul Herrera.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Henao of Giddings; his children, Christie Diaz (Felix) of Austin, Rachel Herrera of Manor and Willie Henao (Melissa) of Reno, Nevada; his grandchildren, Cristina Birdwell (Matthew) of Manor, Juan Jose Diaz (Makayla) of Fort Carson, Yamileth Diaz of Austin, Marissa Anderson (Tevin) of Ft. Hood, Alyssa Mendez of Manor, Carlos Arturo Guzman (Alicia) of Austin, Gloria Guzman (Alfonso) of Pflugerville, Dinora Diaz (Jorge Zuniga) of Austin, Felix Diaz (Karla) of Austin and Karina Diaz of Austin; his great grandchild Elena Sofia Diaz of Fort Carson; and his siblings, Braulio Herrera of Laredo, Carmen (Don Spivey), Roberto (Guadalupe Herrera), Marcelina (Raymond Nunes), Juan Herrera of Giddings, Martha Hernandez of Giddings, Laura (Victor Orocio) and Gabriel (Deina Herrera). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Giddings or to the charity of one's choice.
