He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin T. Schautschick Sr. and Amanda Schautschick (Berger); and his brothers, Walter and Delward. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Schautschick (Koehler) of Giddings; his children, Scott Schautschick (Holly) of College Station and Stacy Gisclar of Austin; his grandchildren, Marion Hebert, Don Hebert, Jayla Gisclair, Haley Schautschick, Skylar Schautschick and Sydney Schautschick; and his siblings, Edna Houston of Giddings and Martin Schautschick (Ginny) of Tanglewood. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church Ring the Bell Campaign or to a charity of one's choice.
