He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Ema Gutierrez and Romulo Lopez; and his brother Argelio Lopez. He is survived by: his children, Maria Dolores Lopez of Houston, Gracielda Lopez of George West, Teresa Lopez of Seguin, Juan Lopez Jr. of Houston and Jesus Lopez of Houston; and his siblings, Aurora Sanchez of Tennessee, Oralia Fuentes of George West, Teresa Mendoza of George West, Elma Moreno of Beeville, Aurelio Lopez of George West, Alejandro Lopez of George West, Homero Lopez of McAllen and Amadeo Lopez of McAllen. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
