He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Claud and Johnnie Lee Stanley Bowen; his children, Clifford Bowen, Jr., Anna Jean Bowen, Billy Ray Bowen and Larry Joe Bowen; and his siblings, John Bowen, Lester Bowen, Jr. and Evelyn Bowen.
He is survived by: his wife Naomi Bowen of Gary; and his son Charley Lester Bowen of Gary. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives; special friends.
