We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2023, at the age of 86, Dorothy Reynolds Gilligan of Galveston, Texas, born in Athens, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Allen Reynolds and Muriel Mann Reynolds; her husband John Bruce Gilligan of Uvalde; her sisters, Martha Sue Reynolds Dyer and Johnnie Reynolds Williams; and her son-in-law Dr. Charles Bradford Thomas.
She is survived by: her daughter Gina Gilligan Thomas; her grandchildren, Catherine Alia Thomas and Philip Bradford Thomas; and her nieces and nephews, Laura Gilligan Banks, Cynthia Williams Hartman, Nancy Dombrowski Losinno, Anita Dombrowski McKenna, Stephen Williams, Randolph Williams and Daniel Williams.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church Taylor, Pathway to Victory, or the charity of your choice.
