She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick (Hyacinth Harris) and England; her husband Lt. John Byron Allen; and her siblings, Kathleen and Norman.
She is survived by: her children, Byron Miles Allen (Jane Conner Allen), Sherwood Lee Allen (Marla Allen) and Beverly Allen Briggs (Stephen Briggs); and her nephew Roger Tredant. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
