She was predeceased by: her parents, Dana June Claunts Ross and Douglas Leon Ross; her son Kirkland "Kirk" Ross Thurman; and her brothers, Douglas Leon Ross, Jr. and Richard Everett Ross.
She is survived by: her husband John Thomas McNeely; her son Leon "Le" Albritton Thurman II (Erika); her stepchildren, Kimberley Merrifield (Charlie) and Michael "Mike" McNeely (Andrea); her grandchildren, Leon Thurman III, Jorge Thurman (Casey), Silvia San Juan (Luis), Sommer Mayorga (Alfonso), Melinda Day, Michael Braxton (Amanda), Joshua Landers, Jordan Landers, Jessica McNeely and Evan McNeely; her great grandchildren, Damien Garcia, Michael "Mikey" Day, Elena Mayorga, Penelope Mayorga, Greyson Thurman, Graham Thurman, Nayomi San Juan, Yaretzi San Juan and Gabriela San Juan; and her sister Jodie Ross Wurzbach. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
