He is survived by: his wife Rena V. Ortiz; his children, Yesenia Ortiz, Saul Ortiz Jr. (Naomi) and Alexia Mata; and his siblings, Elfica Tavarez, Delia VillaPando, Esther Colomo, Martha Ovalle, Bertha Navarro and Natalio Ortiz. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
