He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Johnny Brooks and Shirley Mae Brooks; his wife Elizabeth Brooks; his daughter Alicha Brooks; his granddaughter Veronica Aguilar; his siblings, Johnny Ray Brooks, Robert Brooks, Darrell Brooks and Dorothy Conley (Calvin); and his friends, Mike and Alma Garcia. He was also cherished by other relatives, including nieces, nephews, in-laws.
